This site has originated from my family saying “wouldn’t it be a good idea to make a website for the Family Tree?”, then telling me there’s about 150 people to put on. It might take a while before I get that lot done. But if you think you might be related, drop us an e-mail. This is the Middlesbrough branch of the Family Tree. I know there are lots of Berrys, Hartleys, Pratts, Nutters, Halls etc.
If I asked Sam to list the names I daren’t think how long it would be. These are just names I’ve picked up in conversation. Apparently we’re related to Wallace Hartley who was the bandleader on the Titanic. We’re also related to one of the Pendle Witches, Alice Nutter
Update
I thought it might be a lot of work what with more and more former family members being found each week so I decided to set a gallery up. I always was a bit lazy, this way I can get my family to upload any old photos they have and any relatives in any part of the world can add their own information and photographs.
We have quite a few photos where we only know a couple of the faces so maybe somebody out there can fill in the blanks.

Sam works in Pathology at the James Cook University Hospital. She has probably done most of the work compiling the family tree. Though Debbie and Donna do also do a lot on it. She is engaged to Adam and they have an eight month old son Isaac. |
